Mental Health Support Services
Gonzales High School’s Mental Health Support Services provides a safe and supportive environment in the school setting where students can discuss a variety of topics in a confidential, nonjudgmental space staffed by supportive staff dedicated to improve the health, well-being and educational outcomes of all students. Students have access to both on-campus and community resources, Gonzales students can receive social-emotional support, counseling and be referred to other support services to maximize student engagement and success.

- The Services to Education Team provides mental health services to students who have an IEP and to students in general education classes. They provide individual therapy, conduct risk assessments/safety plan, consult with families and school staff, coordinate referrals, and link students/families to local services and community resources. They facilitate an open office hour weekly to support our GUSD students, families, and school staff.
